The germicidal UVC lamps are perfect to sterilize rooms at 99,9% of effectiveness. In principle and in normal conditions, it would not be necessary to ventilate the room, because although the air is also sterilized, it does not affect the health.
However, if the tubes of the lamp produce ozone, it should be ventilated. In this type of lamp, the air is altered and could irritate the eyes and respiratory tract. Therefore, we advise to ventilate after the sterilization process in this type of UVC lamps.
